Oh sorry in my original comment, I meant that we can carry this logic over to
other columns(not only metrics).
I agree we can include type information in TimelineMetric object itself. That
will be better. By the way do you envisage metric values having anything other
than float or long ? I think TimelineData.FLOAT and TimelineData.LONG should be
enough. Thoughts ?
