Ying Zhang commented on YARN-5287:
----------------------------------

I have a simple patch here. I've tested it with my 3-node cluster. It works as
expected.
What the patch does is explicitly setting the required permission for each
newly created local directory.
Would someone please review the fix and see if there is anything missing? Thank
you:-)

> LinuxContainerExecutor fails to set the proper permissions on the local
> directories(i.e., /hadoop/yarn/local/usercache/... by default) if the cluster
> has been configured with a restrictive umask, e.g.: umask 077. Job failed due
> to the following reason:
> Path /hadoop/yarn/local/usercache/ambari-qa/appcache/application_xxxxxxxx has
> permission 700 but needs permission 750
