I've listened to calls by the ANC and ANCYL president that Lekota and other imposter members of the ANC must not be expelled. For me this is just postponement of a decision that the organisation should take with immediate effect before a lot of people are confused of what is happening.
The risk that the organisation runs is that we will be inconsistent on dealing with ill-discipline within the movement and that will cause a permanent rot which Lekota and others seek to entrench. It is clear that the agenda is that of causing instability in the organisation but they plan to do that from within. The decision will be treated like the removal of some Premiers and the President in that some of us called for removal of some of the Premiers and the President but the leadership took a responsible stand not to act. However, the action was take albeit very late, it is these issues that have led to the ill-discipline that is displayed by Lekota. It is my view that the proposed National Convention is a clear demonstration of act of factionalism; treason and thuggery. It is clear that Lekota wants nothing but power and access to state resources. He is lying to the Nation and distorting the provisions of the Freedom Charter. All shall be equally before the Law, innocent till proven guilty by a credible court of law: these are sacrosanct provisions that Lekota thinks are good but not for the President of the ANC. This is perversion of the Freedom Chatter and must be condemned. Interestingly, he says nothing about the provision of the Freedom Charter that there shall be Houses; education; health and other social imperatives. Further, he doesn't want to refer to the 'People shall share in a country's wealth' : these are all issues that the 52nd conference resolved in and clearly to a displeasure of Lekota, Mluleki, Mbazima and other political clowns. Lastly, the ANC needs to call a special NGC to deal with these matters and also confirm expulsion of those who cause anarchy in our organisation. They msut also be interdicted from using colours; flag and emblem/logo of the organisation.
