Comrades our country is not only facing a political crisis it also faces challenges of teenage pregnacy-crime-HIV and AIDS and many other things...
My worry here is that there is a lot of us especially the youth who are extremely ignorant of the desease that is cleaning out the future of our country..some of us are even in denial and do not encourage one another to either practise safe sex or abstain..I really would like for us to look into this matter and find a way in which we can tackle the challenges that are not catered for by the Government... The study by the University of Cape Town has found that young females from the ages of 14 to adult females aged 45 are the most infected and affected people and are the master carriers of the desease and males between the ages of (16-40)..It worries me to learn that there is just a young girl out there who is faced with the challenge of this desease and it just becomes clear to me that such an individual is already done with... I insist that we have to meet in person comrades and discuss these kind of issues and probably we could organise a national campaign and have from this forum comrades that will minister those campaigns in provinces,regions,branches,national and perhaps if we grow big we can reach internationl institutions..we need not I believe only have to focus on problems such as inflation-crime and many but should just accomodate these problems and fight against the killer challenges we are faced with together.. I have a picture in mind that if we could meet then some comrades within ourselves can be awarded sectors and a responsibilty to monitor what is happening within their living environment and we meet on a monthly basis and give reports on our findings and have such reports combined into one document and it be distributed nationally and form a partnership with the ANCYL,YCL,TAC,the Government and many other organisations including this forum...I am quite sure that by so doing we could see a positive change in us and the communities we live in... We dont only have to act when a family member gets infected and then its where a person realises that "wow! HIV/AIDS is true and it kills!" we must act and act now!!
