Cdes

I would also like to welcome and congratulate Cde Sabelo Gina on being elected
as NUMSA President. I fully agree with the views as raised by Cde Vincent on
Cde Sabelo's capacity and credentials. Cde Sabelo has risen in the ranks of
this labour organisation as a committed cadre that is ready to take forward the
struggle for the liberation of the workers and the poor. I know this because I
have had the opportunity to work with this leader. Thank you Cde Sabelo for the
things you taught us as members of the ANC in Mandela Branch which amongst
others, the need to study the history of our movements and commitment to our
relovitionary struggle as we advance the National Democratic Revolution.

The ANC Mandela Branch is proud of having produced such a cadre as you, a young
organic intellectual, organizer, revolutionary, and a leader. We wish you all
the best as you and the collective NUMSA leadership carry out the tasks as
given by your membership. Many negative things have been said in the media
about the divisions and purges in NUMSA, again Cde Sabelo they will continue
this offensive of telling canards about this newly elected NUMSA leaders. But
we as comrades we will continue to support you in your endeavors to advance the
struggle of the workers.

AMANDLA! FORWARD WITH UMZABALAZO WABASEBENZI!

Congratulations comrade President. We look forward to being led by a nworker
of your kind. We are certain that you are one of us. We are confident that
with the changing nature of work and employment relations in the
manufactuting and auto sector, whereas the workers still remain vulnerable
and exposed to the rampant behaviour of accumulative capital with its newest
cunning ideas of labour surplus through globalization; your fellow youthful,
vibrant, radical and militant workers under your tutelage as an organic
intellectual amongst their ranks in Numsa will be truimphant and sooner the
young workers will realise socialism in their life time.

Long live metal workers. Organize the unoragized, teach and learn, fight and
crush capital and create a just, democratic socialist world.
