go public about their position as far as the current political dilema , who is
its that they have to please by going public. ''Then they claim they are still
ANC members , Please Cde Moleketi '' we are not kids.

I agree Cde Thando , cope is just a small group of former MP's wo never in the
past 12 years been at branch level to work with people and sell their fake
political idealogy. They are so fat that they enjoyed the govt. salaries ,
benefits and the deals that were met for the masses of businessmen who battle
everyday trying to make their businesses work. '' Most of them formed their
businesses and had an intention to employ people , never made it due to the
Cde's (in cope) who were drawing salaries but at the same time they had
business interests , and they tell us that they did not struggle to be poor , I
would like to to them , we did not recommend them to MP positions to deprive
our masses the small chances that the ANC has created. So they in anyway have
done the damage by scrapping and not implementing the RDP of Cde Mandela's
legacy and this was bound to happen becuase positions and economic power
creates dangerous individuals '' the likes
 of cope''.

Coming to the point of names like ''snakes , dogs and baboons'' . Cde's South
Africa has a problem today or our movement faces these problems today because
we tend to forget where we come from and I believe we not the generation that
can forget so easy. The word snakes was used by comrade ZJ as he owes to the
masses to address about these dissidents , I have been always at pains trying
to think of the correct word to refer to  these people.
I think snakes is in an african context the write word , why - Think about the
time that these comrades have been with the movement ,have participated in
crutial ANC decisions and policy making and decisions. But they decide just , a
few days at Polokwane to form their KOPA , why just because they can't let the
new democratically elected executive committee of the ANC lead the movement in
the next 5 years , WHY.
Its POWER , GREED , and UMUNTU ESEDLE U POISENI USUKE ESEWUDLILE , their pay
masters will punish them is they don't do something , In other words the shares
that they hold at whatever companies that they are involved in HAVE conditions
, one off is that they will remain in the public domain and have public
influence , which they saw it not possible under Cde JZ leadership.

Snakes in the context it was used actually meant , '' we walk with you for
years and cross the rivers and climb the mountains and avoid the bullets and
stayed in prison for years , but you fail to let me lead democratically just
for one term '' WATCH the space comrades WHAT are they affraid off. Why would
the former chair go bublic and call another senoir leader '' Isibhanxa'' if he
was not still the member of the ANC then , he knew that he had nothing to loose
and he had to deliver the goods to his masters cause they had indicated to him
that they no longer had confidence to him and his team of 1996 that they will
still be holding key positions beyond 2009. '' Thats how capitalist behave and
you can ner change them.

Phambili nabasebenzi phambili.

I agree qabane Songezo that we must not “stoop to the level” of fools by
“calling them ‘baboons.’” I think people might take us as fools too.. No matter
how angry we are, we must not trade insults in return. Instead we must
concentrate on real issues and exposing the unprincipled.

Calling people snakes, dogs, baboons etc. is not the solution. I think Cde Buti
should have invited Mda for a debate and teach her Marxism 101.

Find attached below from The Times. I do not think that the YCL should stoop to
the level of Mda and Madisha by calling them "BABOONS". We do not need this.
But Madisha should equally apologise or give evidence on the 500k and other
allegations.

Songezo

Cope apologises to the ANC
NKULULEKO NCANA Published:Nov 25, 2008 (www.thetimes.co.za
Congress of the People (Cope) leaders have "unconditionally" apologised to the
ANC and it’s president Jacob Zuma for the inflammatory statements made by the
new party’s youth leader, Anele Mda, and labour convener Willie Madisha.

Both Madisha and Mda went on a bashing spree during a rally in the Eastern Cape
where Madisha, referring to Zuma, said: “We will be the laughing stock of the
world when we have a leader (who) says ‘I will rape and shower’."

Mda told the crowd that should Zuma become president, then we would "have a
government that is going to make raping official."

In its statement, Cope said: "The party subscribes, without any reservation, to
the principle of the independence of the judiciary and respects its findings.
Therefore the remarks by Ms Mda and Mr Madisha are withdrawn unconditionally
and a full apology is extended to the president of the ANC and his party."

But this did not stop Young Communist League leader Buti Manamela earlier today
from taking a swipe at both Madisha and Mda, labelling them "baboons" for the
statements they had made.

"We are of the view that the statements are inflammatory, defamatory and
constitute hate speech," he said.
