I have read your document on factions. 

 

I think you are missing something. I think you are missing the idea that
a faction within the Party means that the members of that faction have a
loyalty that comes first, before their loyalty to the Party; and that
cannot be o.k., comrade.

 

In other words such members do to the Party what the Party forbids its
members to do when they are members of other organisations, under Rule
6.4 of the SACP constitution, which says:

"They shall not create or participate in [SACP] caucuses within such
organisations and movements designed to influence either elections or
policies."

 

If we don't allow ourselves to do that in other organisations, how then
can we allow our members to behave in such a way within the ranks of the
party itself?

 

We can't be having secret societies within the SACP.
