Greetings comrades,

I have just hard disturbing new about a bus the was petrol boomed in one
the sections in uMlazi Township,

Again comrades, I seem to be the only one consigned about the problem
that we are fasted with in KZN.

Last week on SA Fm I tried to air my comments as to what is the local
gov doing about this problem, but there was a bright spark that insisted
that I should read news papers but I was disturbed by this guy because
he was calling from jhb.

Comrades, I then ask the question as to what has the ANCYL REC in KZN
doing about this disturbing news, we need to get answers and questions
need to be asked about the awarded contracts on the EThekwini Bus
Services.

As a dedicated comrade I get disturb when I hear of such things. Three
life's have sustained injuries, and I sense that this problem will not
end surn because people of KZN need answers do we solve this problem
politically or we just let it be?

I await for you response comrades.

Thank you

Thami Ngcobo

Subject: [YCLSA Discussion] Re: the ANCYL autonomy is undermined

I like your comments cadre Thanyani, and its unnoticed loophole within
the ANC and the ANCYL, even in Amathole Region, Eastern Cape we are
faced with the same problem. I request the comrades from other Regions,
Provinces to advise the Eastern Cape ANCYL leadership, which has become
arrogant. The branches in Amathole Region are collaspsing. We have a
Regional Task Team since September 2008, and not a single branch
launched in preparation to the congress, instead the RTT comrades are
used to lobby for who must be the Chairperson of the ANC in the coming
Provincial conference, they totally forget their mandate to build
branches, but with the back -up of the ANCYL Provincial Secretary they
are still the RTT members. They are now attending ANC BGMs as deployees
of the ANC RTT preparing for the ANC Provincial Conference, no ANCYL at
all. There are ANC cadres in Amathole & Eastern Cape who want to use the
ANCYL for their own material benefits. Some of us are victimised when we
are not allowing them to use us as spades, thats why I really support
what Comrade Thanyani is saying. The name PYA is a history in this
region, the name RGC is history. We explained this to some comrades of
the PEC and ANCYL NEC who are progressive. Comrades please intervene in
Amathole, Eastern Cape.

The ANCYL in Vhembe Region, Limpopo Province is preparing its
Congress
and as in any democratic political organisation like the ANCYL
comrades are having different views on who should lead the
ANCYL.
Normaly young people themselves should convince each other
politicaly
not other way round. The challenge we are facing as young people
is
when the ANC comrades and Leadership are becoming envolved in
the
lobying. Openingly so they move around with delegates promising
them
jobs. this is part of an ill disciplined membes of the ANC who
want to
use the ANCYL for their own material benefits. some of us we are
victimised by not allowing them to use us as spades. of course
things
happen they can win at the end of the day. but my biggest worry
is
that of autonomy of the ANCYL in which the ANC leadeship will
claim
the victory of the Congress of the ANCYL and direct the incoming
leadership what to do and what not to do.
