Comrades,

the intuition that the peacefull protest of soldiers has implications in
bridging of the country 's security is seriously not thought through.
if it was well thought and such implications were considered the dismissal
letters wouldn't have been served.

it is my view that the dismissed soldiers in case they fail to explain to
the contents of the letters within the specified 10 days, the dismissed
soldiers will revolt and the security is perceived being under threat for
a peaceful protest, what will happen to the security threat after the ten
days.
the minister and the people or officials who advicing her should not
forget that they are dealing with the highly sophisticated people who are
taught how to fight and finish the fight they started.

soldiers will pledge sympathy to the dismissed and as a result the
decision by the minister to dismiss the soldiers will be the only danger
to the country.

the leadership of the MKMVA is also in the passion of stoping fire by
pouring petrol in the tanks which are supposed to be filled by water,
soldiers are the workers also, which in a logical sequence it should
explain to the MKMVA leadership that they also are protected by the Labour
Relations Act and all legislations which protects workers, their statement
that soldiers should not affiliate to any federation is an insult to the
credentials the MKMVA embodies since its Formation.

the primary responsibility of the MKMVA is to ensure that prisoners of war
are integrated at the SANDF and therefore the interest of the MKMVA on the
military should also have the financial well being of the soldiers, the
very same people who are expected to be the shield of the South African
citizens at the time of war, how are they going to defend us if they lost
their families because they are just men due to wearing trousers and
having beards but cannot provide or contribute effectively on the well
being of their families.
the only way that soldiers will get a bit of a good money is when they are
sent abroad on a peace keeping mission, the minister should from now on
know that she is creating a situation whereby soldiers are not happy when
there is no war in other countries so much that they will be send there to
stop war, it is obvious that soldiers need more money and in the absence
of foreighn war no money will come through and atleast bring some laughter
at their homes.

even ourselves as citizens we are concerned of the manner in which the
police attacked the unarmed soldier.

we love this country and its defenders.
