CDe Ranwashe

You state "Remember that govt has a responsibility to
uphold the law and secure its citizen. When the army
strikes, that is an obvious deviation from its
responsitbilities and therefore it needed to act".Equally
we expect the ANC government to uphold ANC and government
positions about quality jobs.

What you affirm the role of the state to be is simply a
confirmation of the fact that "it is the Executive of the
Bourgoesie as stated by Karl Marx so may years ago.We
cannot selectively uphold those laws that are a
disadavantage to the workers, we also have laws that speak
about a living wage, safe workplaces, guarantee towards
personal and bodily integrity (meaning that state action
cannot just be rampant as we saw SAPS shooting at fleeing
workers at the union buildings.
