2009)
President Jacob Zuma Will pay a visit to the Northern Cape Province on
Sunday, 11 October 2009 in Kuruman as part of the ANC Siyabonga (Thank
you) programme. He will start the day at 10am at an official government
programme where he will open the Mothibistad T-junction and Mapoteng
Road and then proceed to the sod turning of the Tshweng and Tsineng
road..
He will thereafter at 2pm address a massive rally of 15 000 people at
the Batlharos stadium Kuruman as a fulfilment of the ANC ‘s commitment
during elections that we will go back to all provinces to thank the
voters for voting the ANC back to power.
Certainly, the huge voter turnout has indicated the value attached by
our people to the right to vote and to the constitutional and democratic
way to change or renew a government's mandate.
We are very grateful and humbled by the decisive mandate we have
received from millions of South Africans. They were attracted by our
policies and the delivery of services in the past 15 years, as well as
the track record of this movement in working to build abetter South
Africa since 1912.
