Dear cadres,

I concur with cde Sikhumbuzo, populist theories that bear no relation to
reality are doomed to failure. Nationalisation of mines has no empirical
evidence of yielding desired results under the circumstances. Noting that there
is no end of recession in sight for the mining sector amid a stronger rand
causing export slump on mining and manufacturing output levels.

For instance, the monthly information regarding the mining industry on the
basis of mining production figures and mineral sales furnished by the
Department of Mineral Resources paints a different picture in terms of the
state of the mines in the country vis-a-vis mining operation's continued losses
leaving judicial management as the only appropriate course of action for
struggling mines to take in the face of the combined negative impact of
circumstances beyond the control of management - not to mention BEE
beneficiaries and workers being at the receiving end. Let alone that
legislation was used to force mining houses to sell equity to well-connected
few without entrepreneurial skills, and struck BEE transactions without
economic substance.

It's no secret those deals committed an act of insolvency and thereby exposing
the trading entities to liquidation. That's why government cannot introduce
nationalisation programme to carry the financial burdens of the distressed
mining entities who failed to deliver any demonstrative net value in the hands
of black people. It will never happen, government cannot to use limited
resources to ward off expected losses of struggling mines which never
benefitted ordinary people.

I therefore submit that we cannot nationalise the mines, under the
circumstances, precisely because it will not only be a costly exercise but
unsustainable and destructive for a developmental state. There is no room for a
trial and error experiments which do not take into account the socio-economic
imperatives in the country.

Remain comradely,

Comrades

When class project structured its BEE deals in the Mandela Squares and
exquisite restaurants with whites who then robbed them and sold them empty pit
holes then they come shout NATIONALISE!

When the Tokyo's and Mbeki's albeit through the likes of Patrice's and co did
their things in boardrooms our people were not there, so please comrade our
people should not be taken for a free ride!

Why all those that claim to be calling for the nationalisation of mines dont
mention Oppenhimers or Rupert's of this world in their screaming insults?

What we need to do is unravel all the BEE deals before our peoples resources
must be used to bail out shams of greed that nearly obliterated the ANC. Let
the public know the truth before its funds are used to buy over these empty
holes!

This too is the same for financial sector deals that the banks allegadly
financed under the giuse BEE, DIE WAAR MOET UIT COM JELLE!

Where and how in the world make half a billion annually in the world without
involvement in the production line like Smuts Ngoyama? Before we all get
excited about this very undefined Nationalisation and act all communist, when
in actually they are defending their recession struck wealth with our peoples
resources!

I would like to see whom among these false prophets that can dare this naked
truth!

I would like to you respond on the nonsence that the YCL does not have a
programme of its own and membership. This is where you should start because it
is primarily this that we have responded to. Your assistance without touching
on this amounts to no assistance at all. At best it is a confusion.

Cde cronin was quite disjointed and episodic with regards to the attack
on
the youth league let us pehaps assist the ycl provincial secretary
because
he seems to want to be on a political podium i do not for which contest
cause clearly this is not ideological this mixit and facebook behaviour
is
       out of order.

Cde cronin said " the youth league want the mines to be nationalised
because they are obssesed with bling". Now that is an insult to the
entire
ANCYL body now because members of the youth league are disciplined we
know
thatwe cannot all of us respond at once therefore the head of the
movement
took centre stage and proteced the image of all ANCyl members.

There is nothing wrong when a leader of the movements protects its image
cde jeremey did not expect us to just smile i do not doubt his political
maturity surely he knew waht he was getin himself into when he uttered
those statement while we do not condone the public spats by our cdes we
will not keep quite when a cde is ou of order i think this matter should
be dealt with over a glass of tea and political class nothing mischivous
meant by both parties these differences have existed for a long time
other
comrades should not tkae dvantage of the situation for thei persobal
       popularity and gain.
