The 1994 Breakthrough is being Tested.
The Victory for Freedom in our country is as a result of a long fought freedom for a truly democratic ,non racial and prosperous South Africa.This battle for freedom was lead by the National Liberation Movement lead by the African National Congress of Seme and Oliver Tambo.Their fight was a struggle for the defence of individual liberties of all South Africans ,Black and White. Their belief was that South Africa belongs to all who live in it Black and white,this was then seen in a peace democratic transfer of Power form a brutal apartheid Regime to a democratic government of national unity lead by Nelson Mandela.Cde Nelson Mandela lead our nation to national reconciliation and laid a foundation for our new democracy. The ruling ANC become a rallying Point for National Unity and this Project was successful. Today our nation founding values of nationhood are being challenges by lack of leadership in current ruling organization to defend national unity. Our country is more divided than in the Mandela era. The Ruling party is incapable of bring its members and the nation together. We are collectively vulnerable to any extremist inflitration from any opportunist tendency . Because of the inability of the ruling government to bring People together. The recent events are a testimony of a vulnerable nation. We must be reminded of the Past third force elements in KZN and further reminded of the Boeremag bombings and the latest Xenophobic attacks in country. This shows me that we do not have a luxury to adventurous. i wish rationality and leadership will be shown by the Party with obligation to implement the Constitution .
