Che Guevara is illrelavent since the ANC its nationalist organisation and Che was a Communist, so the ANC is not a Communist organisation but rather a nationalst dominated organisation with communist in it. The ANC started to distance itsself from the masses after the first democratic electons in 1994 and ever since then its politics detoriated and this will continue as its role or its basis for exsitance does not exist anymore. If the Union of 1910 did not exclude the blacks the ANC as we knew it would have never existed. Black and white nationalist united in 1994 under the government of national unity and this is what the ANC stood for before 1994. What does it stands for now? That is why we find it today behaving the way it does, pushing the very same capitalistic policicies the national party had, such as maximum resource exploitation regardless of what the people say on the ground, and incapable of delivering on its election manifesto and promises. Its leaders in business impoverishing the same communities and the people that fought for liberation and voted it into power. This the reason why we have the arms deal that benefitted the west and few elites in SA. Promoting nuclear energy as the national party has done. Evicting people from their land because of mining ineterest. Silencing popular grassroots movements. In reality there is no opposition, the DA and the rest in parliament all stand for capitalist democracy - capitalism with a human face and nothing more. It is become redundant day by day, and it will at some stage become reactionary as some of its leaders are already pulling towards that line, its a dying horse and its only time that will tell. We in this case referring to those who are privilaged to be in government/state institutions and in leadership/public representatives. It is however crucial to acknowledge that the state is a machinery of suppression, meaning it is designed to enforce certain ideas and practices. It has by its design mechanisms that ensures enforcement, that's why you have state aparatus/institutions like the army, police, courts etc, the super structure. The super structure is supposed to be the reflection of the base. Whilst agreeing with you one should be quick to say there should be a balance between the two aspects, people first and the suppressive nature of the state. This brings you as an activist to fill the gap. You are privilaged to mediate and ensure that the working class is not exploited, they explore the recourse that is there in the statutory laws and even to ensure that public representatives take resolution that put our people first so that by the time the state machinery acts it does so in the interest of the people. Remember that the history of all hitherto existing societies is the history of class struggles!
