*YCLSA Statement on attempted Bombing by right-wing extremists* *7 May 2010*
The Young Communist league of South Africa (uFasimba) condemns the barbaric behaviour of some right-wing extremist group that has found reason to resuscitate after the death of Eugene Terreblanche. The recent discoveries by the SAPS on their plans to destabilise and bomb black townships, shows that we still have primitive groups that do not respect our democracy. As the YCLSA we vehemently denounce such backwardness. Our democracy and constitution allows the participation and representation of all races and organisations in South Africa in forms of political organisations and organised civil society. We however oppose any formation that seeks to undermine Nation building and the solid foundation of our democracy build on principles of a non-sexist, non-racist, and democratic Society. Such groups and Individuals should be isolated in our society as they have no place in South Africa. In the recent bilateral meeting held between the YCLSA and the Afri-forum youth, there was an indication that despite differences of the Youth Formations, open dialogue and discussions is a constructive way to iron out differences and further express concerns about current challenges. We applaud the SAPS for the prompt response in catching the perpetrators and we hope that the law will equally ensure that maximum punishment is imposed as Treason is a serious crime and should not go unpunished *Issued by the YCLSA Head Office* *Contact * *Gugu Ndima* *National spokesperson* *0767831516* -- Gugu Ndima +27 76 783 1516 -- You are subscribed.
