---------------------------- Original Message ---------------------------- Subject: COSATU GEN SEC (Cde Vavi) charges From: [email protected] Date: Sat, June 26, 2010 02:02 To: [email protected] -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cdes i have listened with patience to views of the trusted leader of our movement(ANC) about possible charges against cde Vavi.It would be a very dangerous attempt not only to strain alliance relations but most importantly to make the ANC and the alliance a toothless dog if ANC punishes Vavi in instances of this nature. Cdes it is a reality that some senior members of ANC do undermine the ANC when deployed to governance. The ANC NEC and NWC IS DOMINATED by people who are very interested to business and that is making them unable to speak out or correcting tendencies that bring conflict of interests among themselves. Let them save the ANC by creating space for constructive critisism and political engagement by alliance leaders especially cde Vavi, Jim and others. Punishing Vavi will be equall to silencing the working class in speaking out against corruption and self enrichment by ANC leaders. Let GS not allow any attempt of intimidation by possing disciplinary measures against him. We will continue telling those who did not struggle to be poor but to be rich about their mandate to serve poor people of this nation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ South Africa's premier free email service - www.webmail.co.za ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For super low premiums, click here http://home.webmail.co.za/dd.pwm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ South Africa's premier free email service - www.webmail.co.za ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For super low premiums, click here http://home.webmail.co.za/dd.pwm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ South Africa's premier free email service - www.webmail.co.za ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For super low premiums, click here http://home.webmail.co.za/dd.pwm -- You are subscribed.
