SAPS Interim Court Interdict to be heard on the 21st October 2010
The Labour Court matter between South African Police Services and POPCRU will
be
heard on the 21st October 2010 at the Labour Court. The terms of the Order as
granted are that;
1.1. All the members of the first Respondent-POPCRU, who are members of or
employees of the Applicant-SAPS, are interdicted from embarking on a strike.
1.2. The Respondents are interdicted from promoting, encouraging or supporting
participation in a strike by all members of the Applicant.
And we are called to inform our members, who are the Applicant’s employees that
it is unlawful to embark on a strike.
POPCRU will abide by the order pending the hearing of the matter at the Labour
Court.
