Cry less; for your tears are not worthy of a weak political moral prevalent within the structures of the ANC. This crisis of low political moral or total lack of; stems from the culture of open letters that has recently entered the movement shortly after Polokwane congress. A political organisation cannot be run through an exchange of open letters amongst its members more so when it relates to differences that bear a potential to divide it or its constituency along tribal, racial or religious lines. ANC and its leaders should know better... The culture of open letters has to end. The same applies for the ANCYL which launch its own response fraught with labelling and thus exacerbates this debate unnecessarily. Why can't the ANCYL wait for the NEC meeting of the ANC and thus use that platform to call order on Manuel?
Organisations are built and made by people; and people have heart soul and blood. Launching a response such as that of the ANCYL will not help heal the rift caused by the matter under consideration but will simply lead to further paralyses. Let us learn valuable lessons from this ordeal.
