SACP NORTH WEST STATEMENT ON THE ATTACK AGAINST ITS LEADERSHIP
Tuesday, 15 March 2011

The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the North west province
regards very seriously the attacks launched by its enemies and the
media on the National leadership especially Comrade Blade Nzimande,
the General Secretary of the SACP.

As the SACP we view these attacks as planned and childish conduct that
we are not surprised at. As we move towards elections normally these
dirty tricks are always emerging, however, we are not going to fold
our arms when our enemies masquerading as genuine Communists uses the
media to attack our leaders.
Surely, we are aware that the Y2K counter-revolutionaries are having
failed to silence the Party through their tactics are now resolving
to attack our leadership towards the African National Congress (ANC)
2012 elective conference.

These attacks are consistent with intentions of trying to remove the
SACP from the National leadership of the ANC. Indeed these fake
revolutionaries are bound to fail as they are not based on
revolutionary principles and conduct.

We are obviously not going to be led by reactionaries in terms of
their attempts to define our leadership – Comrade Blade Nzimande was
never elected into the Party leadership by the media or mis-informed
political analysists. Comrade Blade remains the SACP General Secretary
until the SACP members decides otherwise.

As to the issue related to the former Limpopo provincial secretary and
the disbandment of the PEC in that province, as the SACP in the North
west province we are totally behind the decision taken by the SACP
Central Committee and further agree that the SACP does not have
free-lance communicators who behaves as though they are bigger than
the Party – therefore all actions recommended and taken are consistent
with our long –standing principle of democratic centralism (DC). It is
un-Communist to speak to the media about organizational matters
without a clear mandate from the organization.
