The PEC of the party in the province of north west started to seek a populist identity. It is correct for the North West PEC to have a view based on what is currently happening in the party but should confine itself to provincial matters, it is my view that if they are having a view on national matters the central committee is the best structure to propound. I have nothing wrong with the PEC of North West having a view on national matters, but such a view should be communicated to the central committee for further adjudication.

Cadres don't get me wrong I'm not saying they should not have a certain view but the issuing of statements in the matters of national leadership should be kept with the SACP National office communications.
