Cde *PHILEMON SHIBURI*, National Treasurer of NUMSA will deliver the keynote address at the Mbuyiselo Ngwenda Memorial Lecture, taking place this afternoon Wednesday 16 March 2011, Lillian Ngoyi Hall, KwaZakhele, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape province. Cde Ngwenda was considered a Marxist-Leninist in the mould of Harry Gwala par excellence by his peers in the trade union movement, an agitator and propagator of Socialist ideas in the mould of Chris Hani, a fearless opponent of crass materialism and opulence just like Joe Slovo, a committed and genuine servant of the workers and the poor like Moses Mabhida, a committed Communist Cadre like Moses Kotane, a firm believer in non racialism as personified by the ANC of Ruth First and a strong opponent of monopoly capital as reflected in the Freedom Charter.
