Mafika Mndebele as the organisations new Head of Communications and National Spokesperson. Comrade Mndebele serves on the YCL National Committee, and will now also serve on its NWC. He also served as the Provincial Spokesperson of the YCL in KwaZulu Natal for the last two years. He will resume his responsibilities immediately, and joins the YCL National Office as part of the 3rd National Congress resolution to strengthen the full-time complement of elected National Committee members. His appointment was as a result of the resignation of Comrade Gugu Ndima, who indicated that she wants to concentrate on furthering her studies.
