07TH National Congress Media Briefing Session

Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union will hold a Media Briefing Session on the 
progress registered towards convening the supreme governing body of the Union 
on 
the 13-16th June 2011 at the University of Free State, Bloemfontein under the 
Theme “21 Years of Consolidation of Working Class Power within the Criminal 
Justice”.
 
The Congress will be attended by more than 1 200 delegates from all nine 
Provinces and International Allies from the African Continent and other parts 
of 
the world such as CUBA, US etc. And the Congress will be addressed by the 
Minister of Police, Correctional Services and Transport, Alliance Partners 
Leadership.
 
The briefing will obviously deal with the challenges of State 
Brutality,Re-militarization,lack of capacity of DCS to deliver,Nationalisation 
of Traffic etc.
 
The Media Briefing will be addressed by National Office Bearers and is 
scheduled 
as follows;
