Almost 48 police officers were killed in the line of duty only for the first two quarters of 2011.And for 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 Financial Year almost 105 and 101 Police Officers were killed respectively.The impact are devastating as it undermines the Constitutional imperatives and democracy,bringing low levels of confidence,uncertainity and narrow agenda to isolate Police Officers in communities by thugs.
