Cde Kwena, All what I am saying is that stories of all these faiths be told without favour, our people are thirsty for the truth. The truth is that all these faiths have things in common & these things in common all points to great Africa. We can only do justice to this concept by allowing the other side of the story to be told. Do you know that once upon time arab world & africa were one, you needed not to cross an acean or sea to be in another part.
Do you know that the story of Maria, the story of Abraham are line of stories in both Islam & Christianity. In Ethoipia which is non Christian, you have the story of Maria as part of their teachings. Relationship between God & Man started long time before Christ or prophet Mohammed. It is unfrotunate that in faiths you have lot of assertions that cannot be subjected to scientific means of corroboration. Most of the cultural-Heritage & indigenous knowledge systems will run parallel with science, do not compare the two. In my initial email I gave example of African calender & its logic to present realities, which I find to be cultural-heritage tool making more sense even today. Your example might be one of those objects of culture that present more questions than answers.
