Cde Kwena,

You are correct that every logic it be religious, cultural or philosophical
need to be scrutinised. The current make-up of our society because of past
history put other non-African cultural-heritage at an advantage as compared
to recognition & appreciation of African cultural-heritage. In essence most
members of all these faith groups do not know that a lot have been
refabricated to promote interests of certain groups. All these faiths
Christianity, Islam, hundi , Judaism all originate from African religious
faith. all these faiths have Idols but is only African religion that do not
have an idol but maintain as people do not die, in the spiritual world they
will serve as representatives [Ancestors].

In my view there are some teachings of Christ which were closer to
Communist teachings, but believe me most of the people still believe that
Communists are anti Christ & therefore they are heathens & pagans. They
cannot distinguish between genuine christian teachings & those inspired by
imperialism. Being a communist is not the be all of revolution, to truly
liberate people you must liberate their mind, tell them truth, allow them to
choose, well informed by logic. Needless to tell you that whether you like
it or not our revolution its worst enemy is still inter & intra racial
contradictions. Cde Biko has said You are either alive & proud, or you are
dead, & when you are dead, you can't care anyway. So you can only be proud
if you know your cultural-heritage not this distorded one we are living. He
further said the most potent weapon in the hands of the appressor is the
mind of the oppressed. Lets work on the mindset of our people, lets free
them from lies & distortions crafted by appressors & imperialists.

You might differ with Dr Credo & Dr Motshega, but they have done lot of
research in to our cultural-heritage. By that they deserve to be listened to
attentively & carefully, maybe if you do that you might wake up thinking
differently about them tomorrow. Like communism, they are victims of
propaganda because they tell it better. In heritage month perhaps we need to
take a break & ask a question how our forebearers use to do it & why they
did that way?

Cde Kwena you have a lot to learn from Dr Credo & Dr Motshega. I can give a
delicate example of selfless leaders who led their nations by values of
communism [Kgoshi Thulare was one of them]. One day I will share with you
the story of Kgoshi Thulare & by then you would know he was one of the
finest practitioners of communism without having to read all the materials
we rely on.

Cmmunist Regards
Malekate
