SACP NORTH WEST PROVINCE CONVENES PWC
Tuesday, 04 October 2011

The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the North West Province
convenes its Provincial Working Committee (PWC) meeting towards its
provincial Conference.

The PWC meeting comes as part of a process towards the Provincial
Conference of the SACP scheduled to unfold on the 11 – 13 November
2011.
As part of build up towards the conference, the PWC will invite the
entire Alliance including the Provincial leadership on both the ANC
and COSATU to ensure a clear political outlook and working together of
the Alliance in the face of political and strategic problems we
encounter.

As the SACP in the Province critical and central to the Alliance
issues will be the unity and cohesion of the ANC led movement, in
particular the SACP will be welcoming the decision of the ANC in the
province to take to the Disciplinary Committee the issue relating to
the provincial Secretary of the ANC regarding the failure to register
ANC candidates for the past local Government elections.

The PWC will equally so be attended by the Central Committee of the
SACP and all SACP NW PEC members.

In the same breath the SACP will 100% be part of COSATU actions
against corruption, a campaign the SACP regards very important and
strategically critical in the face of our hard-won democracy.

We will as the SACP be part of all activities against corruption from
the 5th of October until we clear ourselves of corrupt activities
within our Government and all private sectors.

The PWC meeting will take place as follows:
Date: 16 October 2011
Venue: NUM Board room, Matlosane (Klerksdorp)
Time: 10h00
The PWC meeting will equally so receive reports and issues affecting
municipalities in the province with the aim of developing a clear
programme and strategy to deal with municipalities including to fight
corruption as per our (RED CARD CORRUPTION) campaign.
