The SACP is also not a party in this matter, but we can note that the same Bishop Tutu, like the Dalai Lama, is a lifetime anti-communist. I dare say that Tutu's real problem with the ANC is that it is allied to the SACP. Tutu's desire to ostracise the communists does not look like it is going to be satisfied in his lifetime and I personally think that is why Tutu is so crazy with anger on his 80th birthday. Tutu is not, like Abraham was when he died, "satisfied with life". It is not a pretty sight. I don't think, as Malesela Maleka once said, that the SACP (or the YCL for that matter) needs to make a statement every time a fly passes. If it does issue a statement in this case, then it might like to mention how many wars that the bogus holy-man Dalai has blessed. The Afghanistan war is just fine with him. The Iraq war was great from his point of view. I suppose from what Tutu was saying, that they are both loving the Libyan war of recolonisation, too. Probably they have a few more war-blessings up the sleeves of their clerical robes. Humbugs!
