The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa notes and welcomes
President Jacob Zuma’s cabinet reshuffling.

We are particularly pleased that Comrade Thembelani Thulas Nxesi, former
General Secretary of the South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU) and
COSATU CEC member has been appointed Minister of Public Works.

“DENOSA is confident that Comrade Nxesi, who comes from a background that is
very anti- corruption (COSATU), will lead the Public Works department to
where it is supposed to be. We congratulate and wish him well”, says DENOSA
General Secretary Thembeka Gwagwa.

President Zuma’s cabinet reshuffling sends a strong message that corruption
has no place and will not be tolerated in our democratic state. As DENOSA,
we are encouraged by the President’s decisiveness in defense of our people.

We congratulate and wish all newly appointed Ministers and Deputy Ministers
well in their roles to make our country a better place.
