Comrades, I writing this email to voice my concern at the way african bank and ellerines group is treating their employees. Sales consultants' basic wages and their commissions has been reduced due to the so called "new strategy". in the past a sales consultant could make an average of R10K to R12K for selling goods to the value of R300k per month and now they will be able to R3k for selling the same value. Admin workers had incentives schemes and from they have been given more and no incentives.
I am not working at the said company but have been given first hand testimony by the employees working for african bank and ellerines group. In the spirit of comradeship, I would like to believe that these employees have recourse and can take the company to the CCMA and if there is senior members of Saccawu to intervene in abuse of workers in the group anmd also other retail companies.
