*Youth Month Campaign Launch * The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] in the Northern Cape Province in commemorating the martyrs June 16 1976 will engage in a vigorous Campaign to honour their legacy. In advancing, deepening working class power and hegemony in all key sites of struggle our activities will take into account the rich history of our people lived through the 100 years of the ANC, 91 Years of the SACP and the 90 years of the YCLSA. We will be marking this June Month under the* *theme* “YOUTH FOR SOCIALISM: DEMANDING HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION AND JOBS FOR ALL YOUTH”* * * As part of our youth month demands: as the YCLSA in Northern Cape we demand the following · *The intensification of a roll-out program on sanitary towels especially in rural areas* · *A comprehensive response package for all child headed households (i.e. health, education and jobs)* · *We calling for the Legislation on the right to work and we strongly reject the Youth wage subsidy* · * We calling for the President to appoint the new NYDA Board as soon as possible and then the process should be immediately put to review the Provincial Boards * · *We reiterate our call for all important documents like the identification document to be made free for the working class and the people * Our June Month Campaign will be as follows: *1. WEEK ONE: 1-3 June 2012* * AREA: Parks Leburu District* *FOCUS: *Distribution of sanitary towels, toiletry starter pack and food* * parcels *SCHOOL: *Distribution of school uniforms (as identified by the district) *Red Wednesdays: *Youth forums *Red Saturdays: *Community walk-about (Pampierstad and areas in and around) *2. WEEK TWO:* *8-10 June 2012* *AREA: Dora Tamana District* *FOCUS: *Distribution of sanitary towels, toiletry starter pack and food parcels *SCHOOL: *Distribution of school uniforms (as identified by the district) *Red Wednesdays: *Youth forums *Red Saturdays: *Community walk-about (Kakamas,Keimoes,Marchand) *3.
