The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] hereby congratulates Comrade Yershen Pillay on making the final list of nomination by Parliament for submission to the President for the board of the National Youth Development Agency [NYDA]. Comrade Pillay who is also a National Chairperson of the Young Communist League has always been committed to youth development. He brings continuity and vast experience to the NYDA Board having served as a Deputy Chairperson. This experience and extensive leadership coupled with his revolutionary commitment should guide all his actions. We call on the President to consider issues of continuity, experience and dynamism of youth representation and leadership when appointing the new NYDA Board.
