Dear Comrades,

Women's Day is a worthy day to reflect how far have we understood the Marxist
view on a united understanding of both how racial, class and gender oppression
are part of a single, specificable and historically created system.

Trade Unions in particular and society at large has not being immune to
analysing women's un-waged labour on understanding of the linkages between
class and gender oppression and also unpacking all its diversity.

As Marxist-Leninist Scholars, it is appropriate to situate also the
understanding of international politics which are socialized into understanding
gender struggles.

There is a relationship between dominance and subordination in unpacking the
harshness of women oppression across the globe.

A war against discrimination in all avenues of our society must be waged by us
all.

It is prudent to celebrate tenacious words from our African writers such as
Sankara ,and when he shared these words that;

"The
revolution and women’s liberation go together. We do not talk of women’s
emancipation as an act of charity or out of a surge of human compassion. It is
a basic necessity for the revolution to triumph."

may all communists enjoy the day!
