*Statement on Tshwane North College placed under administration* *Wednesday, 30 August 2012* The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] in the Greater Tshwane District notes and welcomes the decision by the Gauteng Department of Education to place Tshwane North College under administration. The institution has been wrecked by allegations of corruption, victimisation of staff and failure to properly administer and account for the utilisation of resources. As the YCLSA we respect the principle that any person alleged of wrongdoing remains innocent unless or until proven guilty in a credible process. Meanwhile, we call on a deep-going enquiry into the allegations that have wrecked the Tshwane North College over and above simply placing the institution into administration. There must be decisive action taken against any person to be found guilty of misconduct or crime including fraud and corruption in terms of due labour relations or legal processes.
