The PYA is back.....there is nothing that can unite us more than action.

I can't remember the last time there was a joint national programme of the PYA.
Perhaps it was airing the time of the Zuma trials. Through his 'starringism', a
belief that he and only he poses the ability to lead the revolution, the then
ANCYL President single handedly oversaw the worst period of PYA relations.

It comforting to see organisations of young people mobalised around a common
issue. Young revolutionaries demanding economic justice for workers
collectively, as opposed to social justice for an individual.

We will never be united by grandiose speeches, nothing but action can bring the
workers and poor to the realization that indeed their cause is shared one.

Less yada yada!!!

Unity in action!!!

YCLSA JOINS WITS WORKERS ON STRIKE*

The Progressive Youth Alliance (PYA) composed of the Young Communist League
of South Africa (YCLSA), African National Congress Youth League (ANC YL),
South African Students Congress (SASCO) and the Congress of South African

demands raised by the striking workers made up of Academics, Administrators
and Support Staff into consideration to ensure that the institution can
focus on its mandate of education towards the students and ensure the whole
Wits community resumes functions as expected.

The PYA delegations of all components will be as follows:

ANCYL led by Secretary General, Kenetswe Mosenogi
