*South African Communist Party Western Cape Media Alert, 8 April 2013*** *Hani Commemoration Lecture * /and / *Launch of 5000 Chris Hani Detachment Volunteer Campaign*On 10 April 1993 the SACP General Secretary, ANC NEC member and Chief of Staff of MK, cde. Chris Hani, was cowardly assassinated by Janusz Walus' and Clive Derby Lewis in his home in Boksburg.
Marking the 20th Anniversary of his murder, the Western Cape Provincial SACP and ANC will hold a commemoration lecture and launch the massive 5000 strong Chris Hani Detachment Volunteer Campaign for 2014 elections and beyond.
