Ideals of trade and supplements of relation can never flourish if at all trust and acceptance of reality is disregarded.
As in when we celebrate and hoist appreciation to the bravery and resolute instinct of the delegates of the Congress of the People as gathered at Kliptown on 26 June 1955, it cannot be crescent of us to seek to disassociate other countries from the wish of the historic manifesto of the people, Freedom Charter, which states that: “South Africa shall strive to maintain world peace and settlement of all international disputes by negotiation not war” including that "There shall be peace and friendship" I am certain that the Delegates to that People 's Parliament, in their wish for maintenance of world peace, they included even waging a fierce war against imperialism and terrorism, which does not exclude imposition of sanctions. The ANCYL constitution, adopted at the 24th National Congress, Gallager, on June 2011, in its Aims and Objectives, states that: “The ANCYL shall promote among youth the spirit of international solidarity, peace and friendship with other nations”. The backing resolutions of Course are not limited to the above mentioned, but may or should be premised towards approach documents as adopted the ANC Stellenbosch Conference in 2002, the 51st National Conference, which defined the relation between SA and other countries as an international issue, one of the articulate and policy concentrated conference, where leadership election was not a superseding force. I equally am convicted by understanding this preamble, informed and motivated by robust debates amongst delegates at that historic yet gallant gathering of Young people of the African National Congress. Barrack Obama of the United States of America 's visit to our motherland was met with dissatisfaction from progressive forces, with backgrounds of their ideas for displeasure made media public, followed by mass mobilized protests, somehow contradictory to what basically defines Our Foreign Policy. In many lights, those tasked with the responsibility to lead this democratic and economically aspiring nation should embrace and advocate for the implementation of our (ANC) foreign policies, in tandem with the consideration of the people of our country, across all living backgrounds. Thus, consistent to advancing a selfless and able country, trade relation with other able countries, we should admit the visits of other States' leaders, as ours often do to other countries, to advance both objective and subjective intentions, necessary to resolve the Economic and safety ills of our country. Barrack 's visit is no exception and it doesn't seem to defame the legitimacy of the popular Cross-country relation. For as long as we, the people of South Africa including leaders of the Progressive Youth Alliance and the Tripatite Alliance, have agreed and are agreeing that we live in an International Society, copying even International Standards of trade and education, having passports and visas, then we subscribe to all impositions of Global politics, and as such our country cooperates with all the dynamism so that we have access to the taste of the lives of our fellow world residents, thus we daily deepen our comprehension of both cool hearted and tyrant character of International politics, which existed long before the ANC took over the Governance of South Africa. Zooming through historical inter-country relation, economical and political ideas fumed, wherein to a particular extend there was coherence and contradiction of approaches, which gave birth to the continuing cooperation and also the dislike of countries, which is by far inherited by every successive leader or president, (which the case is slightly different in our country, considering the reality of Apartheid and Democracy), hence BRICS today. The International Community has its moments, wherein superpowers can even kneel to the below strength countries, consideration given to scrubbing each other 's backs, who would have thought that one day America will engage China for cooperation, as it occurred with the recent Cyber Security engagements recently. This engagement and most which I don't deem fit to mention were not perceived as betrayal to countrymen and women there, but viewed in a light of circumventing unnecessary loss of data and invasion, safe for both states, without costs and mutually beneficial. The same I believe was necessary to African States President Obama visited, considering our own tax free trade with America, which transpired for a duration exceeding 10 years. Perhaps media focus should be a matter of serious concern to those who protested raising fundamental and thorny matters USA imposes in our households such including their militarization within the foreign Policy. The media seemed to embrace the number citizen of America, because instead of capturing fully the events of the "NObama" protest, they focused elsewhere. As our own President Jacob Zuma gave thumb up to the American on Palestine matters and Zimbabwe sanctions, unless if raised behind public domain, but issues of the release of the Cuban Five, the Lybian invasion, the NATO over empowerment, which of course by conscious reminder, most are actions of the Republican whilst some are also deeds of the Democratic, needs to be raised in the face of Obama, in a bid to derive possible solutions and an equal balancing of our relation with the USA and the Countries which it is tempering with, though those are not our immediate worries. For most of this reasoning, I wish to congratulate the fearless SRC of the University of Johannesburg for ensuring that excitement of the varsity leadership do not render us a giving without deserving nation, wherein a person responsible for issuing murderous instructions is award an Honorary Doctorate. This honours should have meanings surrounding them, not excitement. On every painful act of the Americans, South African institutions sends aids, which is caring character of our people, however, the ANC led Government should in a manner equivalent to a sniper 's perfected work, put a stop in clapping hands when some business driven countries are mediating wars between countrymen across the world, with intentions to benefit from such rebel acts. It is time we rise through dialogue to maintain and live to see the moments when our world peace resolutions are heeded to, even by those we beg trade opportunities from. The poetic and seasoned articulation of Barrack Obama, should not be a thud but should carry a logical basis for job creation, fight against HIV/AIDS, peace and stability. We should sharply raise our concerns for his lack of trust in our country, as bringing his convoy and equipments renders us an unsafe country, yet he came to beg for our exports, unless if it means that he can feed Americans with poison. Be it as it may, I conclude by wishing President Nelson Mandela recovery and wish to request calm amongst all South Africans and his family, including those heartless ones that already are planning his burial. May our God do what's best. Klaas Nono Mabunda A South African 0827304331 . . Klaas Nono Mabunda 0827304331 0794304331 0867182705 (fax) [email protected] [email protected] -- -- You are subscribed.
