*SACP Eastern Cape, 2 July 2013*** *Congratulations to ANC for a successful conference*The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Eastern Cape Province wishes to congratulate our long standing revolutionary ally the African National Congress (ANC) on having a united and successful 7th Provincial Conference.
Indeed this was a remarkable achievement wherein ANC convenes a unified and successful conference which is something we have not seen for more than a decade. We have all the confidence to the ANC's ability to use this achievement to translate to better conditions of theworkers and the poor in this province; to improve education, health and root out corruption among other things.
The ANC 7th Provincial Conference saw the election of comrades from various sectors such as the youth, worker leaders; who we believe will bring necessary contribution to the ANC Provincial Executive Committee (PEC).
We congratulate all party leaders and activists who have been elected to serve in the ANC PEC in their own right as ANC members who included our Provincial Secretary and our Provincial Chairperson.
As the SACP we would like to wish the entire leadership collective of the ANC all the best and that it will as has been entail in the SACP message to the conference; subject individual interests to the organisational interests, let the unity of the ANC be primary, let individual interests be secondary for social aims of real national emancipation.
