South African Communist Party, Limpopo Province, 3 July 2014 On the appointment of the Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality by the ANC The SACP in Limpopo Province congratulates and wishes well Comrade Gilbert Kganyago, SACP Provincial Secretary on his appointment as the Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality by the ANC Provincial Executive Committee. We are of the firm view that Comrade Gilbert Kganyago will bring in undisputed and impeccable experience and capability to provide political leadership in the District. We trust that Comrade Gilbert Kganyago will lead the entire local municipalities in the District to function effectively to ensure accelerated service delivery to the working class, the poor and the entire people of our province as we move South Africa forward. We hope that together with other councillors they are capable of leading a unified governance that will ensure that it defeats corruption and increase the velocity in delivery of services of our province. The SACP wishes Gilbert Kganyago and his collective all the best in their new responsibility and commit ourselves as the SACP to provide them with the necessary support.
