Madonsela wants to destroy ANC: MK Veterans Michael Makungo, SABC, Johannesburg, 31 August 2014 Mkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans Association (MKMVA) Chairperson in Limpopo, John Ngobeni, has criticised the Public Protector Thuli Madonsela, saying she wants to destroy the ANC. Ngobeni says Madonsela is not impartial in her work. This follows the public spat between Madonsela and the ANC following her report on the upgrade of President Jacob Zuma's private residence in Nkandla. Ngobeni was speaking during the provincial elective conference at Magoebaskloof outside Tzaneen. He says the MKMVA is concerned about Madonsela's conduct. "There is currently a force which is at work at the moment. The task of the force is to bring down the ANC and destroy the revolution. You have a person heading one of the Chapter Nine Institutions - we understand that such people must be neutral and objectives in how they do things.she (Madonsela) is not impartial and this very worrying to us." ANC Youth League co-ordinator in Limpopo, Musa Chabane, says the MKMVA has the responsibility to defend the ANC structures. "We are calling you the MKMVA after this conference to defend the structures of the ANC to play a political role in the congress movement. You must rise and defend the ANC, you must act out against Thuli Madonsela. she has released a report to destabilise the ANC and the president."
