ANCWL2.jpg The African National Congress Women's League, 18 July 2016 ANCWL Mourns the Passing of Cde Khanyisile Ngobese-Sibisi The African National Congress Women's League (ANCWL) has learnt with great sadness the passing of Cde Khanyisile Ngobese-Sibisi who was gunned down in KZN today. On the time of her passing Cde Khanyisile was the regional secretary of the ANCWL Alfred Duma Region and an ANC Councillor Candidate for ward twenty. The ANCWL is sad to lose a dedicated cadre of the movement, who worked tirelessly in the interests of the African National Congress. Cde Khanyisile cut her teeth in the youth structures of the ANC and graduated into the structures of the ANCWL respectively. Popularly known as "Malumekazi" she will be remembered as a soldier of the working class and a gallant fighter for the poor. Her untimely death is a hard pill to swallow for the ANCWL and we urge the law enforcement agencies to ensure that those who took her life do not go unpunished. The ANCWL conveys its heartfelt condolences to Cde Khanyisile's family, friends and relatives, may they find solace in knowing that they are in our prayers in these trying times. Rest in peace Mbokodo. Rest in peace our comrade.
