21 October 2017 SADTU wishes the 2017 Matric Class well in their final examinations The South African Democratic Teachers' Union (SADTU) wishes well all the 798 289 full and part time learners who will be writing their 2017 National Senior Certificate (NSC)/Matric examinations. These examinations are crucial in the lives of the learners as they mark an end of twelve years of basic and secondary schooling and are a gateway to tertiary education, work and career opportunities. Lastly, SADTU commends its members and teachers in general for performing their revolutionary tasks in preparing the learners for the examinations, and at times, sacrificing their weekends and holidays.
