What about some metadata the author of the webpage could add to say that their page is accessible as a list of other URLs, eg:
<meta name="url" content="http://example.com/ http://www.example.com/ http://example.com/index.html http://www.example.com/index.html"; />
I'd much rather page authors just did the right thing and gave their documents a single URL, with a permanent redirect from the other ones. That way people who miss of the slash still end up on the page, but you don't have six different URLs for the same resource being copied and pasted in to services like del.icio.us.
