Seems a very similar situation of the group account. Accounts where you have a password to set it up, and change the passwords, and another to insert new data.
Essentially with a similar engine, and just asking what permission the second passoword entails you could have both the security to let people use external services, and group accounts. And yes, I too did not use the service too, as I have problems with a service that stores my password, even if in an encrypted form. Beside if you read the disclaimer: "Disclaimer: your data is mirrored on our server to reduce requests to del.icio.us. If your last login is more than 24h ago an update will be performed. Your password is stored on our server in encrypted form. We may use the mirrored data - not the password, of course - to calculate social relations, later. If you don't want this, don't use this service." it seem that you give them your password one time, then they keep on getting data from you every 24hours, and use it to calculate 'social relations'. Hmmm. Pietro --- Joshua Schachter <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Cynical people like myself may feel a little > uncomfortable giving you > > guys our username/password.
