Joshua, Do you know why open documents (Word, PDF, XML) cannot be tagged? I've gotten around the issue by adding a right-click menu item and using the info from Copy Shortcut and text selection. That tags a document from the hyperlink, but once a document is opened it cannot be tagged. I suspected this has something to do with the applicaiton objects that get loaded when you open docs, but then again, an XML document opened in IE is just DHTML, is it not? Can't tag that either.
