ok now two other things related to that which led to the confusion:
- the firefox tagging extension that I got from del didn't show any proposed
tagging from the previous poster (it often doesn't)
- when I came back to my bookmarks it din't show that it had been saved by 1
other person (that figure takes time to update, I have noticed); that appeared
a few hours later only
