Hi all...
I am not subscribed to the mailing list, so please keep my email in your
replies.
I am trying to upgrade yum from 3.0 to 4.0 using the instructions on

But in the step where I am supposed to run yum upgrade, yum hangs on
resolving dependencies. If I check the files opened by yum then it keeps
opening the package header files at the rate of about 1 every second...
it kept running for 24hours twice without finishing...some files are
opened more often than the others.
Btw earlier I couldnt run yum clean all.. it would always give errors...
Can anyone help me fix this error?
