Why not write a script for this to be implemented upon boot?

however if the external firewire disk is powered on when booting YDL
4.0.1 is hanging undefinitely on "hardware probing"...
i'd like better having mounting automayically when powered on...
a solution ?

/dev/sdb9 /mnt/Fat32 vfat
defaults,umask=0 0 0
