Q. Can the built-in hard disk of PLAYSTATION®3 be exclusively used by an "Other OS"? A. No. Because an area used by the system software of PLAYSTATION®3 must be kept in the built-in hard disk. Elsewhere I read that it is difficult or impossible to copy these files and re-install on a new disk. Glad to know I was wrong.
