You say "as badly as"... Maybe it's not so useful to do a lot of work
to have 100% emulation (I leave you judge)... If you think something
else makes more sense feel free to provide it in an IdealVi (or
somesuch) module. Maybe "Vi.Utils" would be useful for users that want
to create (saner) vi-like keymaps.
In any case, although I'm not knowledgeable about vi, the work you've
been doing on Vim emulation looks very good: I just wanted to mention
it does not go unnoticed.
